After distributing your tracks, maintaining a clean and professional presence across digital platforms is essential. This article walks you through the core steps to claim, merge, and update your artist profiles after release day.
Once your release is live, you can find it on streaming platforms by searching for your release title or artist name. After that, you can claim your artist profile directly through each streaming platform:
When your music is distributed to YouTube, a Topic Channel is automatically created. YouTube requires the following criteria before submitting a request to combine your Artist and Topic channel to form an OAC (Official Artist Channel):
- Your Artist channel has at least one public video related to a live release on your Topic Channel (Note: YouTube Shorts aren’t considered).
- Your Topic Channel has at least one live release (YouTube recommends three).
- The name of your YouTube channel must exactly match your Topic channel name, including capitalization. For example, if your Topic Channel is "Artist X - Topic", your YouTube channel must be named "Artist X".

If your distributed release created a duplicate or automated SoundCloud profile instead of landing on your existing SoundCloud account, you can request a profile merge here. Here’s what we need:
- Your SoundCloud profile URL
- The URL of the auto-generated SoundCloud profile
- The UPCs and ISRCs of your releases
