Fine-tune your recording with Retune

Retune lets you adjust the pitch of your vocal recordings at a detailed level. It separates your audio into segments that you can drag up or down to fix or fine-tune notes with more precision. Built right into the Audio Editor, it gives you a clear and visual way to easily shape your sound.

  1. Go to your Voice/Audio track and open the Retune in the lower-left part of the Audio Editor tab
  2. Your entire track is automatically split into pitch segments represented by blocks across the timeline. Drag segments up or down to adjust the pitch by cents. You can only adjust one segment at a time
  3. You can Undo, Redo the changes, or Reset All Edits from the three-dot button in the upper right corner

  4. To slice a segment, place the Playhead on the segment and click Slice in the lower right. You can turn off Snap-to-grid in the upper-right to have finer control over where you place the Playhead

  5. Set a playback cycle by clicking the red Cycle bar on the transport bar or by pressing on your keyboard

  6. You can zoom out/in using the / magnifying glass buttons in the upper right

  7. Listen to the playback and navigate the timeline using the Play, Pause, and Back controls. Enabling Solo lets you hear only the track in the Pitch Editor

  • Retune is only available on Voice/Audio tracks
  • Retune lets you adjust the pitch of your recording. If you want to edit the actual region, check out Editing Audio Regions
