AudioStretch is the world's first audio and video transcription tool that allows you to manipulate the audio of any piece of music.
Where can I access AudioStretch in BandLab?
It's generally best to use AudioStretch in the BandLab Mobile app, as it offers more features. While you can access it in the Studio Web, some functions are not available.
- In the Studio, right-click on your Audio Region
- Click AudioStretch, and then click More
- Open your BandLab app
- Tap the
Create button at the bottom of your screen
- Under Tools, tap
AudioStretch
Accessing AudioStretch from your Mobile Home Screen
You can access AudioStretch directly from your home screen without opening BandLab. This is applicable to both iOS and Android devices.
iOS Devices
- On your phone's home screen, long-press on the BandLab app, and a list of tools will appear
- If you've recently used AudioStretch in BandLab, it will appear on the list of tools
- Tap AudioStretch
Android Devices
- On your phone's home screen, long-press on the BandLab app, and a list of tools will appear
- Long-press AudioStretch and drag it to your home screen
- Tap the AudioStretch icon
How can I use AudioStretch?
- In the Studio, right-click on a region and click AudioStretch > More
- On the AudioStretch interface, you can change the following:
- Speed changes how fast or slow the audio will play
- Pitch changes the pitch by semitones or cents
- Tap Apply or Undo Changes when you're done
- After opening AudioStretch, import a song by tapping the
Add button in the top-left corner or from the
three-dot button in the top-right corner
- On the AudioStretch interface, you can control the following:
- Tap the
Add button to import a track
- Tap the
Studio button to open the track in the Studio
- Tap the
Download button to export the track with all the modifications to your device
- Swipe left or right on the "seek bar" or on the waveform to go to specific timelines in your song
- Place markers by tapping the
Pin button on specific areas. Tap and hold the
Pin button to remove all markers
- Set the Start point and End point by tapping the A/B buttons in specific areas. Tap and hold A/B to reset them to their default positions. Tap the
Repeat button to enable or disable Cycle
- The transport bar allows you to Play/Pause, Fast-forward or Rewind your track
- Tap -/+ to change how fast or slow the song will play. Drag the value left or right to make fine adjustments. Double-tap in the middle to set the speed to zero. Long-press in the middle to reset to default speed
- Tap the ♭ Flat or ♯ Sharp buttons to raise or lower the pitch by semitones. Drag the value left or right to adjust by cents. Double-tap in the middle to toggle between the adjusted and original pitch. Long-press in the middle to reset to the default pitch
- Tap the
- You can import audio or video files from your Device Files/Music Manager, iCloud Drive and other cloud storage services if you have the corresponding apps installed.
- The songs must be physically present on the device to appear in the Music Library.
Supported Audio and Video Formats
AudioStretch supports WAV, AIFF, MP3, and M4A files. WMA (Windows Media Audio) files are not supported by AudioStretch.
For video files, AudioStretch supports all widely used video formats.
