Changes to BandLab Studio Access

In some regions, an active BandLab Membership is required to use BandLab Studio on Web, iOS and Android.

Your existing projects remain saved in your account, and you can still download your project mixdowns without a Membership.

Will I lose my existing projects?

Your projects remain saved in your BandLab account. You will need Membership to reopen or edit them in Studio, but you can still download your project mixdowns without an active Membership.

Can I still download my projects?

Yes. You can download a Mixdown of your project from its revision page on Web, iOS or Android, without a Membership. See Downloading Mixdowns and Tracks for instructions.

A Mixdown is an audio file of your project. To reopen or edit the project in Studio, you need an active Membership.

How can I continue using Studio?

You can open, create and edit projects in Studio with an active BandLab Membership. If your Membership or trial ends, your projects remain saved, but you’ll need an active Membership to edit them again.

For help with your subscription, see Manage your Subscription.

I’m already a Member but can’t access Studio. What should I do?
