Credits are your promotion currency, each one backed by real dollar value. Use them with BandLab Boost to get your music and posts in front of new fans. Once Boosted, your tracks can appear directly in the feeds of listeners across our global community of 100M+ creators.
Claims: for building your sound library
Members can claim royalty-free samples and beats from our BandLab Sounds and BandLab Beats libraries. Curate your own personal collection, and have them ready to go whenever you’re in a creative flow.

Credits let you amplify your reach and get your music in front of new audiences on BandLab. BandLab Max members receive a monthly Credit refill, while Free and Pro members can pay directly by card or PayPal at checkout.
The Basics
- Purpose: Use Credits to promote your posts and tracks via Boost to our community of 100M+ creators
- Value: Credits are dollar-for-dollar – $50 in Credits gives you $50 of promotional reach
- How to Boost: Simply hit the purple Boost button on any of your published posts or tracks to start a campaign
Usage and limits
- Membership allowance: Max members receive $50 in Boost credits every month
- Free trial period: Credits are only granted once a paid Membership is activated
- Rollover policy: Unused Credits roll over to the next month. Your balance is capped at $150 (a 3-month supply) at any time

All BandLab users can claim royalty-free samples from our library of 250,000+ loops and one-shots. Your monthly allowance depends on your plan.

- Free trial period: Trial users can claim the same amount as a paid plan
- Yours forever: Any sample you claim is yours to keep, even if you cancel or your trial ends
- No rollover: Your monthly quota resets at the start of every billing cycle. Unused claims don’t carry over to the next month
- How to claim: Browse and claim samples through the BandLab Sounds library or directly in Studio
All BandLab users can claim royalty-free beats from our library of 1,500+ exclusive, fully-produced beats across all genres. Your weekly allowance depends on your plan.

- BandLab Max: Unlimited beats per week
- Free trial period: Trial members can claim the same amount as a paid plan
- Yours forever: Any beat you claim is yours to keep, even if you cancel or your trial ends
- No rollover: Your weekly quota resets at the start of every billing cycle. Unused claims don’t carry over to the next week

Note: If you've already used your weekly quota, your remaining claims will be deducted from the next week's allowance once it renews. Unlimited access is subject to our Fair Use Policy.
If you decide to change your BandLab Membership tier, your balances are handled as follows:
- Upgrading (Free → Pro or Pro → Max): Your new Credits allowance will be issued immediately upon successful payment
- Membership termination: If your membership is refunded, fully terminated or lapsed (past the 3-day grace period), your Credit balances will reset to zero
