Account Integrity

This policy governs account(s) or identities that have been compromised by unauthorized individuals through impersonation, misrepresentation, deceptive means or data theft. Accounts will be suspended and investigated to ensure user and platform security.

If you believe another user is impersonating yourself or another person, you can report the user.

  • Impersonation — Accounts or content that impersonate another person or entity without consent, whether they are well-known or lesser-known individuals. We assess impersonation by looking at combinations of identifiers, including but not limited to:

    • Using someone else’s name, likeness, or trademark.

    • Using another person’s picture as a profile image.

    • Posting content as though created by the impersonated individual (e.g. songs, photos, or videos by the original artist).

  • Misrepresentation — False or misleading information used with the intent to distort one’s identity (e.g. adopting a name not used in real life, or presenting false credentials).

  • Compromised accounts — Accounts accessed without authorization through deceptive means such as phishing, malware, or social engineering.
