BandLab should be a safe space for all. Bullying or harassment, especially towards private individuals or younger users, will be restricted on the platform. While healthy critique of public figures may be allowed, severe or targeted abuse is not. Violations result in content removal, warnings, or account suspension for repeated offenses.

Bullying
General threats of violence or calling for others to self-harm.
Threats to expose personal details (Note: Severe cases may be categorized as doxxing, sextortion, non-consensual image abuse or endangerment of minors).
Degrading content
Personal attacks based on appearance, intellectual or mental traits.
Comparing others to subjects that invoke disgust/ contempt.
Edited media meant to shame or falsely portray someone.
Baseless allegations that may harm a person’s reputation.
Silencing or Exclusion: Calls to exclude or suppress someone’s voice
Harassment
Any form of unwanted and/or repetitive contact with the intent to annoy or provoke a target (e.g., spam commenting or trolling).
Sexual/Personal harassment
Sexualizing or mocking someone’s sexual life or identity.
Using gendered slurs or derogatory terms outside of accepted contexts (e.g., lyrics or self-reference).
Speculative claims about someone's gender identity, sexual orientation, or personal life.
Platform abuse
Abusing BandLab’s reporting tools to harass or silence others.
Allowed
Casual slangs used in acceptable context without making any personal attack or targeting others, e.g. “This music is sick”.
Retaliatory responses — Limited and proportionate responses to personal attacks may be allowed on a case-by-case basis (e.g., replying “Yo shut up” to someone saying “Why don’t you kill yourself”).
