How do I get Verified on BandLab?

The verified badge helps you identify public figures, brands, and artists more easily on our platform. Here’s everything you need to know:

What is a verified badge?

A verified badge is a tick(badgeVerified.jpg) located next to a BandLab user’s name on their profile. The Verified Badge indicates that BandLab has confirmed that this account is managed by the person or entity it claims to represent. However, this verification does not imply an endorsement of the person’s character, values, or any content they may share on the platform.

How do I request for a verified badge on BandLab?

To request a verified badge, you must be a person of interest, public figure, artist and meet our prerequisites. Please note that even if your account is eligible for verification, your request doesn’t ensure that your account will be verified.

Submit your request for verification here, showcasing yourself in a video. The request can only be done on a computer using a Web Browser like Google Chrome.

What are the prerequisites required for a verified badge?

The verified badge confirms that your account genuinely represents the person, brand, or entity it claims to be. Verification is particularly important for accounts at high risk of impersonation, so we prioritize well-known entities with significant visibility and carefully verify sources before making a decision.

To be considered, your account must be authentic—one account accurately representing a person, business, or entity. This typically includes having an appropriate username, display name, and content that accurately reflects your identity or work.  Note that a high number of followers alone does not guarantee verification.

If false information is provided during the verification process, the badge will be revoked, and further action may be taken.

I am verified on other social platforms, why can’t I be verified on BandLab?

BandLab only verifies accounts representing well-known figures due to the high probability of them being impersonated. We also want to make it easier for BandLab users to find public figures and artists who they want to follow and for everyone to have a truly authentic experience on BandLab.

Although we don't proactively monitor verified accounts for changes, we may un-verify an account if it posts spam or content that doesn't follow our Community Guidelines, or uses its profile picture or bio section to promote other services.
