SongStarter is an AI-powered idea generator that offers a diverse selection of pre-made, customizable song ideas spanning various genres. This feature allows you to effortlessly explore new styles and experiment with different sounds. Take advantage of this tool to overcome any creative hurdles or writer's block you may be experiencing!
- From the BandLab home page, click
Create in the upper right corner, and select
SongStarter. You can also access it from the
More Products button in the top-left corner
- Pick a genre or enter your Lyrics (up to 50 characters, including emojis)
- Click
Get Started, and SongStarter AI will generate some ideas for you
- You can edit the Genre, Mood, Tempo, and Key from the settings at the top. You can also change variations by clicking on the 1-3 buttons below
- To generate new ideas, click on the
Once you're satisfied, click
Save as Project or
Edit in Studio
- From the main feed, go to the
Create tab
- Under the Tools section, tap
- You can change the Genre from the dropdown in the upper left corner, and change the Mood, Tempo, and Key from the
Settings in the lower-right corner
- You can also change variations by tapping on the 1-3 buttons below
- To generate new ideas, tap the
Once you're satisfied, tap
Note
While you won't own the rights to the generated track, you can still use it without incurring any fees or royalties to the original creator.
