Sexual Content

BandLab values creative expression, but we do not allow explicit sexual content. This includes adult nudity, sexual activity, or solicitation, even if consensual, because our community spans many ages and cultures. We also remove content or language that is clearly meant to be sexually arousing. Some mildly-suggestive, non-explicit material may be allowed if it is part of artistic expression, under our Mature Themes policy.

For avoidance of doubt, sexual content or behaviour involving young people is covered separately under our Minor Safety policies.

  • Adult nudity — Full or partial exposure of intimate body parts, such as genitalia, buttocks or female breasts (including nipple or areola).
    • This applies even if the intimate body part is pixelated, or partially exposed through intimate clothing (thongs, nipple covers, lingerie which are crotchless or with cut-outs).
  • Adult sexual activity, including but not limited to:
    • Sexual activities (penetrative sex, oral sex, non-penetrative sex or masturbation).
    • Depicting or discussing fetish or kink activities, or usage of sex products.

  • Suggestive adult content or language
    • Content that emphasizes intimate body parts or behavior with clear intent to purely elicit sexual arousal (e.g., intimate clothing, overtly sexual poses, striptease or pelvic thrusts).

    • Extended audio of sexual activity (moaning, grunts, expletives etc).
