This policy prohibits content or behavior that incites violence or poses credible threats to human lives, as well as material support for violent extremism, violent criminal or hateful organizations. Violations result in content removal and immediate account termination.
Not allowed
Threatening or expressing intent to cause specific harm — Direct threats or sharing plans to harm individuals or groups, especially when specific details are included (e.g., targets, locations, methods, or timing), as these significantly increase the risk of real-world harm.
Promoting or inciting violence — Urging or encouraging others to commit violent acts or support violent causes (e.g., “Everyone should bring weapons to the protest”).
Providing instructions on how to cause harm — Sharing methods or techniques for harming people or property (e.g., how to make bombs or poisons), including guidance on carrying out or emulating extremist acts.
Support for violent organizations — Promoting extremist ideologies, terrorism or groups involved in violence or hate crimes, including glorifying their actions, spreading propaganda, recruiting others, or providing material support (e.g., fundraising, resources, or facilities).
Praise or celebration of violent acts — Glorifying, normalising, or celebrating acts of violence, especially those that cause mass harm or suffering, e.g., terrorist attacks or mass shootings.
Allowed
Educational content or discussions about violent organizations, if it does not depict or promote violence.
