Something is wrong with my audio

Experiencing audio glitches, stuttering, and dropouts? These can occur in your project when your browser/device lacks processing power.

  1. Freezing your tracks reduces the processing power needed to play them by bouncing them to audio in the background. Click the dots.vertical.pngTriple Dot Icon and select Freeze.

    We strongly encourage freezing your tracks if you're working on a large project or experiencing a slowdown in your Studio's performance.


     
  2. If you have many applications or various Chrome tabs open, closing them will also help with performance.
  3. Clear your cache and cookies.
    i. Click on the Triple Dot Icon at the top right of Chrome
    ii. Click on Settings
    iii. Click Privacy and Security
    iv. Under Privacy and Security, click on Delete browsing data
    v. Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files
    vi. Click Delete data

If your project has disconnected Audio/MIDI regions, we recommend merging them by selecting the regions, right-clicking, and selecting Merge Region.
