Subscriptions allow Artists to provide exclusive content in exchange for a monthly fee. Subscribers get to support their favorite artists while getting access to these monthly exclusives!
Getting Started
- Visit bandlab.com on a laptop or desktop
- After signing in, click your profile icon then scroll down to access Settings
- In the menu to the left, choose Payments
- Under Payout Method, choose Connect Stripe. If your Stripe account is set up, you will see the email address connected to the account in this area. You'll need a Stripe account to accept payment!
- Find Subscriptions, then use the toggle switch to enable this feature in your account.
- Visit bandlab.com on a laptop or desktop
- After signing in, click your profile icon then scroll down to access Settings
- In the menu to the left, choose Payments
- Under Payment Method, choose Add Card. If your card is already added, you will see basic card details in this area.
- Find a user with Subscriptions enabled. To the left, locate Support Artist and choose Subscribe for ___ monthly, or select Subscribe to Unlock on any post labeled as Exclusive
Setting up your Subscription
- Use the Getting Started guide for Artists above to enable the Subscriptions feature for your account
- With Subscriptions enabled, set a monthly price for your exclusive content. This can be as low as $1, which may help you gain the maximum number of subscribers!
- Go to your profile or home feed and click What's New to start a new post
- Toggle the post option to Exclusive, and your post will only reach your subscribers
- Use the Getting Started guide for Subscribers above to set up your payment method and find an Artist that you'd like to subscribe to
- After choosing Subscribe for ___ monthly or Subscribe to Unlock on any Exclusive post, click Subscribe on the modal that appears, then review the charges for your Monthly pledge and prorated charges if applicable.
- Add a credit or debit card for payment, or manage the payment method connected to your account.
