What is forking?

When you Fork a song on BandLab, you are taking a track, yours or another BandLab user’s, and adding it to your Mix Editor. This allows you to build on the work, add to it, change it, and ultimately, if you like, republish your version of the track.

Songs you can ‘Fork’ on BandLab are identifiable by the green button and Fork symbol Ψ. To fork a song on any platform, click this button.
