How do I use the tuner?

To use the guitar tuner in BandLab, you’ll need to access it inside the Mix Editor.

 

Desktop Web:

  1. Open the Mix Editor
  2. Click on the Guitar Track on the left.
  3. Select Tuner (below picture of guitar)
  4. Pluck the bottom E note (whilst holding the guitar, it’s the string closest to your face)
  5. When the line in the tuner hits the center, this means the string is tuned
  6. Move on to the next strings (Guitar Standard Tuning - E A D G B E)

 

iOS:

Protip: For quick access from your iOS device’s main menu, just hold down on the BandLab app and select Tuner.

For in-app usage:

  1. Tap the Red + Button
  2. Choose New Project
  3. Select your chosen input method
  4. Tap on the Tuner Logo on the bottom right above Redo.
  5. Pluck the bottom E note (whilst holding the guitar it’s the string closest to your face)
  6. When the line in the tuner hits the center, this means the string is tuned
  7. Move on to the next strings (Guitar Standard Tuning - E A D G B E)

 

Android:

  1. Tap on the Red + Button
  2. Choose Start Project
  3. Tap on the Gear Icon located on the top right, beside the Cloud Node
  4. Scroll down and choose Guitar tuner
  5. Pluck the top string (E note) first
  6. When the green line in the tuner hits the center, this means the string is tuned
  7. Move on to the next strings (Guitar Standard Tuning - E A D G B E)
